About Me

Welcome to Julie Franks State Farm Insurance Agency! I was born in Salinas, CA and spent my childhood at San Antonio Lake. In 1975 my family got the concession stands at Buena Vista Lake and we moved to Taft CA. I have been working with State Farm for over 18 years and have loved every minute of it. Since opening my office in October 2003, I have enjoyed helping the great neighbors of Southern California. I am licensed to serve you in Taft, Bakersfield, Maricopa and the surrounding cities of California. 

What I love most about being a State Farm agent is being able to help individuals and families with all their insurance needs. We offer Auto Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Renters Insurance and Life Insurance. We also offer Business Insurance and Financial Services to fit your unique insurance needs. 

We offer insurance products to replace any lost income and Personal Articles Insurance. At our office we are big pet lovers, and we offer Pet Insurance to protect all your furry friends. Please give our friendly State Farm team a call today and see how we can help you and your family. 

Outside of the office, I love spending time going running, traveling, and even baking. If you ask the team, I make some pretty good cookies. I am a proud wife and mother of two amazing adult children. I also have 3 dogs: Dot, Cash and Snickers. So, whenever I am not spending time with my children, I am with my amazing dogs. I love to get involved in the community whenever I can. Some of the organizations I currently am involved with include the Downtown Merchant Committee, the Taft Chamber of Commerce, and I was previously a President of the Taft Rotary Club.
