About Me: Welcome to Julie Franks State Farm Insurance Agency! I've been proudly serving the Kern County community since 2003 when I opened my agency on Center Street in Taft. My roots in Taft go back to 1975 when my family took over the concession stands at Buena Vista Lake. I have cherished memories of working at the lake from the age of 13 through my college years. After graduating from Taft College, I moved to Bakersfield to complete my education. It was there that I met my husband, and we tied the knot in 1995. We have two wonderful adult children, Audrey and Jake. I am licensed in California and can assist you with your insurance needs anywhere in the state.

What I love most about being a State Farm agent is helping individuals and families create an insurance plan that suits their specific needs and budget. We offer a wide range of insurance options, including car insurance, life insurance and health insurance including medigap supplements. We are currently not writing any fire insurance including home , renters and small business. We look forward to it reopening in the future and will keep you updated.

Outside of the office, I enjoy going for runs and exploring new places through travel. I also make it a point to get involved in the community whenever possible. Currently, I am actively engaged with organizations such as the Downtown Merchant Committee and the Taft Chamber of Commerce. Furthermore, I served as the Past President of the Taft Rotary Club for the 2008-09 term.
